Small contributions. Meaningful impact.

Give a Pinch

Every story on PINCHED costs something to make. A pinch is the smallest useful amount — pooled, it pays a fixer in Kano, a colourist in Accra, or a week of reporting nobody else would fund.

Giving on PINCHED is not anonymous. You must be signed in with a confirmed email address, and every donation, monthly support and dream contribution is recorded against your account and the creator who receives it. That record is what keeps fraud, impersonation and money laundering off the platform, and it is what lets a creator thank the right person.

Contributions on PINCHED are voluntary gifts to independent creators. They are not investments, loans, shares, pre-orders or purchases, and they carry no ownership, interest, profit share, refund right or guaranteed reward. PINCHED is a technology platform: we pass contributions to the creator less platform commission and processor fees, and we do not warrant that any project, dream or schedule described by a creator will be completed. Once a contribution is confirmed it is final and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Monthly support renews until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account. PINCHED is not a charity and contributions are not tax-deductible donations unless a creator states otherwise and can evidence it. You are responsible for the taxes that apply to you.

Payment processing is running on a clearly labelled development mock until the live processor is connected — no money moves yet and every record is tagged as a test.
